This week poet Anya Sliver, known for her lyrical and meditative poetry, shares with us a poem that explores her early childhood memories of prayer, fear, and love.
Los-Angeles based artist, Lynn Aldrich’s work is a lamenting meditation on human artifacts, “signs of God’s presence.” Her sculptures and reliefs (which are often made from manufactured, mass-produced objects) engage the banality of the everyday in an attempt to indicate, as Aldrich notes, “the extraordinary wonder and mystery [that lies] at the core of the existence.” We recently had the wonderful opportunity to interview Lynn Aldrich about her artistic and spiritual journey and her creative process.
